Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films typically in the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from the genre. Her first review was in 2009, gaining some respect on their forums, under her previous username Obscurus lupa. In 2010 she was a member of in the Channel Awesome Family. The site remained active until the beginning of 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts on her channel both covering the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to join the reviewer family. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
