Anya Volz hails from Vermont. The comedian is currently an New York City based comedian. In all over America the audience has said that her comedy is surprising funny and without preachiness. She's a writer contributor and creator of original content for Riot Fest, The Hard Times The Hard Times, and Macaulay Cukin Bunny Ears. Her writing has appeared in BuzzFeed and Vulture. She also appeared at a variety of national comedy events which include New York Comedy Festival & Women in Comedy Festival. Her podcast Best Mistakes is a podcast focused on making mistakes. The show is hosted with Brooklyn comedy legend Nika Lombazzo. Pre-covid she produced and cohosted Our Time of the Week at The Stand Comedy Club main room as well as the weekly show Thirst Trap With Anya Volz which was held in famous venues such as Union Hall Caveat and House of YES and was reported by The New York Times and Time Out New York. His father was Argentine and Scottish English descent. Her mother has Spanish and English heritage. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home up until the time she reached age 6 when the family relocated to Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet while acting in the school's productions. When she was 16, she left school in order to concentrate on acting full time. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to be an actor.
